Interests
I have always had a deep passion for creativity in all its forms. From visual design to the written word, I find inspiration in the world around me and express it through my work. My love for the arts fuels my interest in visual design, where I can combine aesthetics with functionality to create impactful designs. Writing allows me to share my thoughts and stories, while reading broadens my perspectives and sparks new ideas. Whether I'm sketching a new design, crafting a story, or simply exploring different art forms, I am constantly inspired to create and bring fresh ideas to life.

About Me
Hi! This introduction is long overdue. My name is Tonnette Cunningham, and I am a second-year student at Nova Scotia Community College’s IT Campus. If you had asked me six years ago if this was something I envisioned myself doing, my strict answer would have been no. I had always envisioned working in environmental or marine sciences. But regardless of what I had in mind, I ended up here—and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Goals
My change in educational pathway has also led to a shift in my goals. I now see myself working in Digital Design or Digital Marketing—fields that are a stark contrast to my initial focus on the sciences. This new direction excites me because it combines creativity with technology, and I’m eager to explore how these fields can help shape the future. While my journey has taken unexpected turns, I’ve come to realize that embracing new opportunities and challenges can lead to personal and professional growth.
